Job Description
- To study and analyze scholars results to identify core issues and problems.
- Oversee and guide the scholars’ holistic development
- Track progress of the scholars and make improvement as needed
- Encourage retention in their study and academic performance
- Offer suggestions, insight and advice, allowing scholars to make personal decision and choices
- Provide professional guidance and personal support
- Assist in setting goals, outcomes and expectations
- Identify common needs and propose course of action
- To arrange visitations to scholars, especially whose academic results are not meeting clients’ expected minimum pointer.
- To ensure scholars are constantly engaged via emails/facebook/mobile, especially the scholars who engaged with institution located in foreign countries and/or East Malaysia.
- To work with respective institution to improve scholars’ results, when needed.
- To ensure timeliness of scholar guides’ report being submitted to client together with proposed solution should there be issues for scholars.
- To work closely with client and respective institution on scholars’ study plan/program/placement.
- To closely liaise with the Division of Scholar Management:
- Communicate with institutions of higher learning, where scholars are placed, to ensure scholars reported to the respective institution and then onwards to monitor scholars’ academic performance are monitored closely.
- To contact scholars or institutions to obtain scholars’ academic results every semester and update results on e-Scholar Management System (eSMS).
- To assists to ensure effective and efficient delivery of all deliverables within the agreed timeline.
- To work in a team, supporting team members all relevant duties and tasks.
- To assists job placement for scholars at the end of the course, when necessary/needed.
- To suggest and recommend the establishment of effective and efficient work systems/controls/SOPs, where necessary/needed.
- Engages in activities which Management consider appropriate, taking into consideration available time and resources.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Counselling or related field;
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
- Candidate must be passionate about work; great attitude towards learning
- Passionate about grooming and guiding scholars at tertiary education
- self-motivated & directed
