Manager of IT Training

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of IT Training to lead our training department. The ideal candidate will come from a lecturing or professional training background and will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, managing trainers, ensuring the quality of instruction, and aligning our offerings with industry standards and certification requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead and manage the IT training department, including trainers, instructional designers, and support staff.
    • Develop and implement training strategies aligned with market demand and certification standards (e.g., CompTIA, AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.).
    • Establish partnerships with industry bodies and certification authorities.
  • Curriculum Development & Delivery
    • Oversee the design, development, and updating of course materials to ensure alignment with certification and industry requirements.
    • Ensure courses incorporate effective teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve curriculum quality.
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of instructors and trainers.
    • Set goals and performance standards for the training team.
    • Provide ongoing professional development for trainers.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Plan and manage training schedules, budgets, and resources.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
    • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align offerings with client and market needs.
  • Client Engagement
    • Work closely with Sales Department for product launching and presentation
    • Act as a key contact for corporate clients seeking customized training.
    • Represent the training department in meetings, events, and seminars.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.

    Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT trainer, lecturer, or in a senior instructional role.
    • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering technical training content.

    Skills:
    • Familiarity with certification frameworks (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, AWS, etc.).
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to stay current with IT trends and emerging technologies.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
